My Windows PC has a habit of slowing down at the worst possible time. A browser starts taking longer to respond, an app suddenly freezes, or everything feels slightly sluggish for no obvious reason. I've spent enough time dealing with these little slowdowns to know that restarting isn't always the answer.
So I decided to try something different. Instead of relying entirely on the tools Windows already gives me, I looked for a free utility that could help me understand what was happening on my PC. That's how I ended up trying AppControl. After using it for a while, I found myself reaching for it whenever Windows started behaving strangely.
