Netflix added 9 million new subscribers last quarter after cracking down on password sharing. This beat the expected industry forecast of 6 million in the 3rd quarter of 2023.
Along with this Netflix subscribers also now get to pay more for a monthly subscription to the streaming giant's content library. Basic accounts will now cost $11.99 which is another $2 a month increase. Premium subscribers will see their monthly subscription increased by $3 more a month to $22.99.
